Saddened by the announcement of one amazing guy, we first met over 35 years ago, playing baseball against each other, and became friends and might have partied a bit back in the day. Life takes you in different directions, Reconnecting caring for his father for a short time, Once again there space between seeing each other. surprised one night at Base Ball coming up to the diamond with his big smile as always there was Grant but this time he was the umpire, he was a great umpire but that didn’t stop me from giving him a hard time each game. We always had laughs and smiles, talking about the good old days Grant always sharing up dates about his family, it was easy to see how proud Grant was of his children and the love of his life Heather.
Rest easy bud you will be missed

Our deepest condolences to Grant' s family. Don and I met Grant about 10 years ago. How could you not like Grant with his ear to ear smile? Grant had this amazing zest for life. His twisted sense of humor had Don laughing and me rolling my eyes and shaking my head. There was many talks of politics and shaking of heads...however, we often would raise our glasses to the good life and to good friends. His big heart whenever a friend need help with a vehicle, a place to crash or just needed to talk, but that is the man he was.
On Saturday, April 15,2023 as we celebrate his life I am sure there will be lots of glasses/cans raised, laughing and tears and lots of eye-rolling at the crazy stories to be told and there are lots. He lived life to the fullest, and we miss you dearly.
Rest in peace our dear friend.
Until we meet again.

There are so many amazing and beautiful stories to reminisce about sharing time at the Vandervis Greendell home as teenagers. I’m so glad we had a chance to reconnect and entertain at last year’s birthday party. Grant - you will be missed.
