Obituary of JEANNETTE MINSKY
JEANNETTE MINSKY (nee Compain)
January 16, 1937 - April 18, 2023
Peacefully on Tuesday, April 18, 2023, at the Holy Family Nursing Home Jeannette Minsky, aged 86 years, surrounded by the love and support of her family passed away.
She will be forever remembered and sadly missed by her family. Daughters, Diane (Curtis) Brisky, Donna (Terry) Sushelnitski, Barbara (Gordon) King, Sandra Minsky-Park (Chris) and grandchildren Kevin (Jaclyn) Brisky, Michael (Alla) Brisky, Terri-Lynn (Mike) McGill, Shelly (Matt) Nash, Jarrod (Arianna) King, Bradley King (Shealene) and Kyla (Adam) Gosek and great-grandchildren Colby McGill, Hadley Nash, Tyson, Jordyn, Jocelyn Brisky, Grace, Connor Brisky and Penelope King. Additional family, grandchild Hannah (Jan Robin) Dyck. She will be loved and sadly missed by all.
She also leaves to mourn her brother Henri (Anne) Compain.
She is now re-united with her husband George Minsky, son George Minsky (Junior), grandchildren Tamara and Braeden King, parents Leon and Anna Compain, brother George Compain, sisters Berthe Ladobruk and Louise Oberiek. Son-in-law Richard Park.
Mom (Jeannette) was a very special and spiritual person with a great big heart. She loved spending time with her family and would always be there to lend a helping hand in any way she could. She always enjoyed the time spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved to cook, bake, and go on casino trips into the United States.
The family would like to express grateful appreciation and special thanks to all staff at the Holy Family Nursing Home on Unit 3A for all the excellent care given to her through out her stay. Also, a big thank you to Dr. Terry Babick and Dr. Andrea Babick for the care given.
A private service will be held.
