I can’t find the words to tell you how important Teri was to me. She was my mom's special cousin; my 2nd cousin. Reading the other Contributions says it all. Her laugh, her cooking skills, her unselfishness, her wardrobe, her love of animals, her musical skills… the list goes on…. In the last days, I was calmed by Her strength and gratefulness for Living Her Life to the Fullest! She said to me “I’ve got nothing to complain about. I’ve done so many things in this lifetime. Now it is time for the Lord to take me.”
Dear Teri, you will be missed. I know you are at peace and in Heavens arms.
The Journey Home:
There’s a path that leads
to a turn in the road,
and we each must travel there,
Where the Father waits
to take us home
to the shelter of His care….
Where Happiness
and peace and joy
replace the tears and pain,
And our loved ones rest
In the arms of God
to sweetly live again.
With Love and Sadness,
Cheryl Winnicky

I knew Terri many years ago. I met her as Moonbeam Mcswine in a production of L’le Abner when I won the role of Abner in an open audition. I later worked with her at Champs Moter Inn as one of Diamond Lil’s boys in the musical review doing two shows a night. I was in my early twenties and had just started University at the time. Terri was wonderful to be around and always very supportive. I have great memories from those days.
So sorry to hear about her passing but it was good to see that she led a full life and left on her own terms.

My sincerest condolences. I loved her. We shared the most private and the most fun times. We could disrupt a bingo game big time with our laugher that was uncontrollable, stop, look at each other and start again. Her love for animals, the little wild sparrow she nursed back to health and raised like a canary in a cage, pets that lived far longer than a normal life span, because they were so loved. Her voice, her cooking skills, her jokes, her love for life was compounded by her love of people.. Told me once before I start cooking anything I start with sauteeing an onion and whenever I walked into her home there was a pot of delicious soup or something yummy I got to try. She took pride in her appearance and her home. She loved hard and suffered painful losses and the latter I watched and saw what a very difficult toll it took on her. There will never be another like her. Anyone who had the joy of sharing in her life was blessed. I was so blessed. Thank you for all you gave me my friend. An unfillable void where you are no longer present.

Auntie Terri was the best! She would always let me choose a toy from the store when my Mom and I would visit. We spent many Christmas’s together! Such beautiful memories I have for life.

Both my mom and I sang with the Sisters of the Holy Rock for 8-10 years. We loved your mother. She is one who will always hold a special place in my heart of memories.
