Obituary of HALINA GRONOWSKA
HALINA GRONOWSKA
August 23, 1927 – June 20, 2023
Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 20, 2023, in her 95th year. Halina, beloved wife of the late Leon. Loving mother of the late Witold and Anna. Dear Babcia of Tom (Jolanta), Malgosia and Lili and great- grandma to Colton, Jayden, Gabriela, Marcel, Nadia, David, Monique and Rosa.
Halina enjoyed a full life with family and friends both in Poland as well as in Canada. When Halina came to Canada, she made her home in Winnipeg where she lived her life to the fullest in God’s nature. Halina appreciated nature and enjoyed fishing and mushroom picking but most of all loved cooking and baking for her family and friends. Halina was loved by God, her strong faith and commitment to her church provided her comfort and confidence. She had a protector throughout her life.
Halina will be remembered for being outspoken, generous, hard-working, compassionate and a devoted Catholic. She will be remembered for all the heart she shared with her friends and family. She truly loved each of them - and if you knew her, you knew it. We will miss you Babcia.
