Obituary of PAUL BURTNICK

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Paul Burtnick on Aug. 16 at the age of 63 after a brief battle with cancer.

His loving wife of 43 years, Bernadette, and his children Jessica, Michael and Julia were at his side. Paul is also survived by his daughter Helen. He was predeceased by his daughter Eva and his parents, Helen and Walter.
 

Whilst raising and supporting his family, he passionately pursued his chosen career as a land surveyor for 41 years, receiving his commission in 2010.

Paul’s glass was always full. He was a good and loyal friend to all and was always the first one to step forward to help others. Steadfast in his faith in God, Paul lived for his family and the great outdoors.
 

Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Saturday, August 19, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Church, 341 Selkirk Avenue. Rosary will commence at 9:30 a.m. in the church. Interment will follow in Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Cemetery, 4387 Main Street.
