Obituary of KURT ZIEGLER

Peacefully on March 15, 2013, Kurt passed away at the Victoria Hospital at the age of 81 years. Kurt is survived by his loving wife Johanna; children Andrew, David, and Catharine; grandchildren Andrew, Jennifer, Alex, Christopher, and Brett; many brothers and sisters. Kurt was born on November 19, 1931 in Heidelberg, Germany and came to Canada as a young man. He worked for Weston Asbestos until retirement. Family was very important to Kurt. He enjoyed making stain glass pictures and lamps. He was a member of the German Society of Manitoba and Knights of Columbus. The family would like to thank the staff at Victoria Hospital at 4 South for their care and compassion. Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, March 26 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. In lieu of flowers, donations in Kurt’s memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
