Obituary of JUDITH KRISTINE ALLARD

Judith Kristine Allard

On November 6th, 2023, Judith Kristine Allard passed peacefully in her sleep at the age of 70.

Known by her loved ones as Kristine or Amma, she was the biological mother of two children, Tammy Giancola and Brian Keith Allard and one son in law John Giancola However, she was considered a mother to many young people she cared for.

Kristine was predeceased by her mother, Kristine Lillian Ferguson, and her grandparents, Kristine and Kristrun Hannesson.

Kristine shared ,with her loving partner Phillis Houser ( Til ) , many adventures & trips together such as, Amma and Til went on a trip to fulfilling her lifelong dream of visiting Iceland. There, she renewed her knowledge of her family history and laughed with the funniest person she knew, Til (her words). When Amma wasn't travelling, she was home caring for children who needed her. She worked as a foster parent through Metis Child and Family . If Amma/ Kristine had the power to save and care for every child who needed love and support, she wouldn't hesitate. She treated every child as if they were her own; this was a true reflection of her heart. Moreover, her love for her grandchildren was fierce and unconditional.

Amma is survived by her grandchildren, Justin, Juiliano, Gino, Jonathan (wife Sarah), Jessica, Brooke, and Gianna. Great-grandchildren Bella, Rina, Giovanni, and Vincenzo.

Amma referred to all of us as her babies. She wanted nothing but for her babies to be happy, healthy and to have strong relationships with one another. For her babies, she acted like the glue that held them together.

She ensured that each of us had a voice and felt understood.

Her family wishes to honour her by coming together with all who loved her and celebrating her life. On, Wednesday November 15/2023 @ 3:00 PM  a service will be held at Cropo Funeral Home , 1800 Day Street. Winnipeg Manitoba
