Obituary of DONALD EARL RITCHIE
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Don at St. Boniface Hospital on Saturday, November 25, 2023.
He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife, Joyce; his children, Kent (Lana), Lynn (Stan) and Karen (Sebastian); his grandchildren, Brittney (Marshall), Landon (Paige), Kate (Austin), and Sam (Mackenzie); his great grandchildren, Ori Weinstein and Miller Ritchie. He also leaves brothers, Bruce (Laurie), Tom (Anita) and Peter.
He was predeceased by his parents Earl and Blanche Ritchie; brothers, Harvey and Terry; sister, Beverley Jacobsen; his in-law, Carl and Vera McFadyen and grandchild, Chad Ritchie.
Donald was born and raised in Minnedosa and married his wife of 68 years, Joyce McFadyen in Bethany on November 19, 1955. He started out managing hotels for Community Hotels in Manitoba. After 23 years he went painting and decorating.

cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 27 at 2:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street.
