It had been my hope to one day meet Jean, and get to know the person who, along with Shelley, made sure to do absolute right by her horses, including one so near and dear to me. I am glad Real Grace found Jean, and and I am glad they experienced such wonderful moments together.
Her role in his journey as a racehorse matters, and will always be remembered. She was a huge part of his story, and will continue to be.
She has all of my gratitude for allowing me to take over the reins of the best partner a girl could ask for.
His journey going forward in a new career remains in her honor.
She will be remembered, even by those of us who never had the pleasure to make her formal acquaintance.
My most sincere condolences to her family, and all who loved her.
