Obituary of DALE LORNE ENNS

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Dale Lorne Enns on
January 15, 2024 at his home at the age of 33 years.

He is survived by his father Jules Enns, his mother Shirley Enns (Paul), brother
Raymond (Meghan), sister Nikki (Shaun), nephew Sullivan, niece Claire, grandfather
Albert Stangl and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is predeceased by his
grandmothers Mary Stangl, Dora Enns, and Terry Nault, his grandfather Peter Enns,
Uncle Jerry Onofrey, and Aunts Darlene Onofrey and Rozina Cran.

Dale was born on April 27th, 1990 and spent his younger years in Niverville before
moving to Winnipeg, where he graduated from Churchill Highschool. Dale enjoyed all
sports, and could often be found bowling or on the basketball court with his friends. His
talent really shined with football and rugby. He played for the Churchill Bulldogs and the
St. Vital Mustangs where he was always a force on the field. He had a kind and
generous heart and would give anyone his last penny, or the shirt off his back if they
needed it. He was always quick with a helping hand, and whether you needed a push
out of the snow, a ride somewhere, or help moving, Dale was there for you.

Dale worked in a few different fields after graduating. He worked in construction starting
at his Uncle’s company, and he also showed off his passion for cooking in the kitchen.
Dale was always a very hard worker, always making sure to give 100% in whatever he
did. Where he truly excelled though, was working for New Directions where he was able
to showcase his care and compassion for others. One of his favourite memories was
when he was able to take one of his clients on a trip to Toronto.
Dale made friends everywhere he went and always left people with big smiles and
cheeks that hurt from laughing so hard. He had a special ability to connect with all types
of people from all walks of life. One of his favourite things to do was to take his Aunty
Darlene for breakfast, and she proudly told everyone in her nursing home about her
nephew, Dale.

Dale was also a very gifted artist and spent many hours developing his natural talent for
painting. He has created many beautiful pieces of art which are proudly displayed by
the family and friends who are lucky to own them. He was always excited to learn new
techniques and hone his skills, and carefully framed each piece before he gave them
away.

Dale was truly one of the kindest, good hearted, loving and caring members of our
family. He will be forever missed and never forgotten. He will always be in our hearts.
