It is with deep sadness we announce the sudden passing of Donny on Thursday, February 1, 2024 at the Stonewall Hospital.
To mourn Donny’s passion and love of life, are his wife Rosalynn (Pokey), son Jason (Jenny-Lynn), Holly and Sam (Blaine); grandchildren Olivia, Madalyn and Logan; brothers Garry (Barb), Tom (Cathy), Freddy; sister Marlene (Dave); sister-in-law Rhonda aka Matilda (Murray), sister-in-law Cori. He will also be remembered by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Also, to remember his zest for life, his friend Angela (Jeff).
He was predeceased by his parents, Fred & Alda and mother and father-in-law, Don and Fran; niece Dawn Marie (Peeper), cousin and friend Jim.
Donny was a vibrant soul, who embraced life with laughter, love and a melody in his heart. A true aficionado for joy, he found immense pleasure in playing music and sharing the gift of song. Donny leaves behind a legacy of warmth, infectious laughter and melody that will resonate in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to share in their joyous journey.
The family thanks all the staff at Stonewall Hospital, who took such excellent care of Donny over the years and were with him during his last hours. Your kindness and caring will never be forgotten.
