Obituary of SUSANNE MARION WELSH
Susan Marion Welsh (Robinson)
June 21, 1946 – January 30, 2024
Mom passed away peacefully with her family by her side on January 30th, 2024 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, at the age of 77 years.
She was predeceased by her Mother & Father Phyllis and Clarence Robinson and her Brother-in-Law Doug Blackwell.
Mom is lovingly remembered by her children, Teri (Jack), Tanya (Brian), Linda (Laurie), James (Shawna). Grandchildren Shasta (Sean), Zach, Cody (Bella), Carter.
She also leaves to mourn, her sister Joan Blackwell and numerous Nieces and Nephews. Mom had a special bond with her niece Yvonne Blackwell Dekleyne and she cherished the relationship they shared.
Mom was born and raised in Brandon, Manitoba, she then moved to Thompson before settling in Winnipeg in the late 1970’s where she raised her family. Mom’s life revolved around her children, she was very active in our extracurricular activities and was often seen score keeping at our softball games or cheering us on from the stands at our ringette and hockey games, of which she never missed. In 1992 Mom was blessed with her first grandchild, her heart grew bigger with the arrival of all 4 grandkids. She was the most loving and doting grandmother, family truly was the most important thing to her and she was the glue that kept us so tight knit. In Mom’s spare time she was often doing plastic canvas, crocheting or knitting toques for the Christmas Cheer Board.
“You will be forever missed and loved by your family and friends, our memories we will cherish always”
