Obituary of CHRISTINE ROSEMARY COLEY

We are saddened to announce the passing of our mother; Christine Rosemary Coley, on April 03, 2024 at HSC at the age of 64.

Christine is survived by her daughters Tammy, Sherry (Eric) and Amanda (Kyle), numerous grandchildren, and sister Olga. Christine is predeceased by her husband Michael Bell, mother and father Mary & Thomas Coley, sisters Betty and Julie, brother John, and son in law Darren. 

Christine loved to play VLTs and didn’t mind spending a little extra, even when it wasn’t needed. She was never one to stay home and was always on the go, except in the summertime, when she could enjoy a beer outside listening to country music. 

Christine loved spending time going on long drives in the summer with Michael just to look at scenery and see what they could find on their adventure.  

Christine had a big heart for all her animals, including some strays she would care for. Christine made many friends along the way that she cherished.

Mom enjoyed planting flowers and a garden she loved her tomatoes, cucumbers and her onions. Can’t forget about her rose bush that’s her favourite type of flowers. 

Mom had a keen sense of humour you would never know she had until her final days, you would have thought she was some kind of comedian. 

Christine will be loved and remembered by friends and family.

The family would like to express their gratitude to CancerCare MacCharles, Homecare, Palliative Care staff, HSC staff and Salvador for the care and support of our beloved mother.

A Celebration of Christine’s life will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2024 at 1:00pm at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street.
