Obituary of ANTONIO FIGUEIREDO PEREIRA

Antonio passed away on April 12, 2024 at the age of 92 at Heritage Lodge Care Home with Antonio’s daughter holding his hands.

He was predeceased by his first wife Maria Tavares Figueiredo on May 20, 1992; his second wife Maria Luiz passed on February  18, 2018.

Antonio leaves his daughter Adelaide and son-in -law Jose Agostinho Sousa; grandson Leo Souse (Rita); great grandson Isaac and Olivia Sousa; his sister Emilia (Antonio) and many nieces and nephews; stepchildren Manuel, Maria, Joao, Lucia, Ana and Luis.

Thanks for the years you gave us and for the precious times we shared. We only pray when you left us you knew how much we cared.

God saw you getting tired

When a cure was not to be

He put his arms around you and said

Come unto me.

Forever in our hearts

Prayers will be said on Thursday, April 18 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Friday, April 19 at 12:00 p.m. noon at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, 181 Austin Street North.  Interment to follow in Assumption Cemetery, 3990 Portage Avenue.

We thank the staff at Grace Emergency for their care and a special thanks to the staff at Heritage Lodge Care Home on Portage Avenue for their special love and care to Antonio and the support to his daughter. Many thanks, we will always remember you.
