CAROL SUZANSKI

Obituary of CAROL JOYCE SUZANSKI

Carol passed away peacefully at Health Science Centre with her family, and close friends by her side.

On October 10, 1948, in Eriksdale, Mb, the late, Doris and Martin Muzyka welcomed their blue-eyed beauty, and third daughter, into their family. Carol leaves to mourn her siblings: Gloria, Marlene, Marvin (Winnie), Pamela (Louis), Barry. She was predeceased by her husband, Doug, Brother in laws: Sam and Robert, nephews: Martin and Russell, and niece: Paytyn.

Carol was a classy, kind, caring and generous soul who loved spending time with her family, friends and her cherished cats: Dusty & Suzie. Carol had a fulfilling career as a nurse throughout Manitoba from 1969 to the late 80’s, when she was forced to retire due to ill health. She had the greatest heart for all animals, big or small. On April 24, 1999, Carol married her beloved, Doug. They spent their years together enjoying life: Going to the lake, enjoying bonfires while listening to country music, cooking and baking together was a favourite thing to do. She also loved weekly gathering with her bowling league friends. Carol always had spark about her that brought lots of laughter, and made fond memories.

Carols family would like to express a heartfelt thanks and gratitude to niece, Sherry for her dedication, constant care and comfort to Carol. Thank you also to nieces Stefanie, Wendy, Jessica and Dawn, and close friend Karen for always being there for Carol during the past few months.

Special thanks to St Boniface Hospital, Dr Eng & 7A south staff for the exceptional care given to Carol during her stay.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at Cropo Funeral Chapel 1442 Main Street at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, Carols wishes are to please make a donation to a pet rescue.
