Obituary of DARREN JAMES HORNE

Darren James Horne
February 24th 1964- April 30th 2024

Sadly, Darren Horne passed away with his daughter by his side on April 30, 2024 at the age of 60.

Left to mourn is his daughter Emily, his brothers Dean and Doug, his sister Dawn and brother-in-law Eric, niece Lauren and nephews, Iain, James and Erik. Darren was predeceased by his father Douglas, and mother Doreen.

Darren retired from Canadian National Railway after 35 years where he made many long-term friends. Besides CN he also had many businesses over the years, his favourite being his latest endeavour, Bitcoin ATM’s.

He loved his music and throughout his life enjoyed many concerts with friends. He also had an appreciation for his cars, always driving a memorable vehicle that was immaculately clean and well cared for. He enjoyed travelling to Mexico and spent an extended amount of time this last winter enjoying life and making great memories with good friends in Mexico.

Darren was kind and considerate right to the very end. He was loved by many family and friends and will be missed immensely.

A celebration of life will be held at Cropo Funeral Chapel,1442 Main Street, on May 17, 2024 from 1:00 – 4:00 pm.
