Obituary of ANTHONY GALAS

Anthony Galas passed away peacefully on Monday, May 20, 2024 at Riverview Health Centre, at the age of 85 years.

He was predeceased by his parents, Anton and Francis Galas; brothers, Ted, Brian and Donald; sisters, Jessie and Isabel.

Tony is survived by his wife, of 62 years, Iris; sons, Michael (Annette) and David; grandsons, Steven, Kevin, Brandon and Jordan.

He also leaves several nieces and nephews, as well as a large extended family.

The family especially thanks the staff at Riverview Health Centre 3E Palliative Care for their compassion and great care.

At Tony’s request, cremation has taken place and there will be no formal service. Family will gather privately.
