Obituary of SOPHIE VICTORIA PARTYKA
SOPHIE PARTYKA
August 30, 1919 – August 3, 2024
Peacefully with her daughter and granddaughter by her side, Sophie left this world and went home to be with the Lord.
She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Mary Ann, granddaughter Laura (Linden) and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Sophie was predeceased by her loving husband, Peter, son-in-law Ray and many other family members and friends.
Sophie was a light to the world. Her loving, caring, accepting and compassionate nature along with her kindness to everyone she met brought joy to all. She loved her family and her church. Sophie enjoyed visits from her family and friends, reading, watching her favourite shows and her Blue Bomber football games.
Thank you to amazing staff at Donwood Manor for the kindness they showed Sophie and for the compassion and understanding they showed our family while she was passing.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, August 9, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Alphonsus Roman Catholic Church, 315 Munroe Avenue. Interment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, 88 Hespeler Avenue
In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the charity of your choice in Sophie's memory.
