Obituary of CONNIE WALTON

November 29, 1924- August 28, 2024

On August 28^th, Connie Walton, age 99, of Winnipeg Manitoba passed away peacefully with her daughter by her side.

Mom was born in Kingsclere, Hampshire, England. She came to Canada as a young war bride to build her home and family here.

Mom will be forever remembered by her sons Michael, Brian (Linda), David (Jocelyne) and her daughters Beverley (Jim) and Shirley (Kent).

Left behind to miss their nanny are 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Also left to mourn her passing is Pat, Margaret and John and their families in England.

Mom also leaves behind her partner Bob Kowbel whom she loved very much and had the best years of her life with.

Mom was predeceased by her son Johnny, daughter Anne and granddaughter Jaime, daughters-in law Doreen and Betty. She was also predeceased by her parents, Albert and Beatrice, and siblings John, Edgar, and Eileen.

Mom was a hard worker all her life and worked hard to make sure her children did not go without. Life was not easy for her, but she always did the best she could.

She could tell the best stories about growing up and shared many childhood memories. She will be so missed!

The family would like to thank the staff of Middlechurch Home for taking such good care of our mom throughout her stay there. I am sure she was listening to the outpouring of love, by the staff, in her final days.
