Gwen will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Krystle Lee, son Tyler Chegus-Dufault, granddaughters Everest and Annabelle Antonchuk, brothers and sisters Margaret, Milli, Steve, Marilyn, Patty, Shelley, Nadia, Donald and many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

Gwen was born in Erickson Manitoba and grew up on the farm in Vista Manitoba. She later settled in Winnipeg where she raised her family. She worked as a waitress for many years before she started her own cleaning business.

Gwens home was always the centre meeting place where she hosted many large family diners and gatherings and would prepare enough food to feed an army and would always send the leftover food to everyone who attended. her home was often referred to as Grand Central Station. anyone who was an out of towner who needed a place to stay always spent the nights at her place. She would also open her home to anyone who needed a place to live. Her favorite thing to do when she had visitors was to play Bingo and Sevens.

Gwen loved making homemade perogies, cabbage rolls, dill pickles, beets and her famous potato salad. When she was making these homemade items she would usually make 60-100 dozen at a time and would have her kids, friends and family members help. She really enjoyed teaching her kids and grandkids how to make dill pickles and perogies.

Gwen was a proud baba and loved spending time with her kids and granddaughters. Her granddaughters were the centre of her life and she loved them with all her heart. She enjoyed having them over for sleepovers and always made sure they had everything they wanted and needed.

Gwen had unique sense of humor and incredible cackle laugh. she was an easy target for prank phone calls and would always play along.

Gwen was incredibly passionate for animals and would always try to save any strays she found. she would always have at least 4 animals living with her at any given time. She absolutely loved cats

Gwen enjoyed making memories in Clear Lake with her daughter, granddaughters and sisters.

Above all, Gwen really valued and loved her family and friends. She had incredible friends who she turned into family. She was known for delivering raw honesty, and for always being an open and loving person. She offered love to anyone who needed it.
