Obituary of LEONARD NEWMAN
LEONARD DAVID NEWMAN
On April 14, 2013 at the Health Sciences Centre, Len passed away peacefully after a battle with lung cancer.
He is survived by his wife Christine, children Sean, Crystal (Kelly), Bethany, Jordan and Faith. He has 3 beautiful grandchildren, Alyssa, Martini, and Matthew. They knew him as
Papa. He also had family in Ontario, Don (Renate), Diane, Denise (Jack), Jim (Sherri), Terry (Rita), Lori and many nieces and nephews.
We would like to thank all the support and prayers from family and friends. The staff of Cancer Care and Respiratory rehab made the last few months a lot easier to handle.
Prayers will be held at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street on Thursday, April 18, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Funeral Service will take place at Cropo Funeral Chapel on Friday, April 19, at 10:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Children’s Hospital Foundation Child Life Cancer Trust at the Health Sciences, CE501- 840 Sherbrook Street.
