Obituary of IVAN HRYTSAK

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our dear Ivan Hrytsak on September 16, 2024 after a courageous battle with cancer.

He is lovingly remembered and will be mourned by his mother, Mariya, step-father, Donald, his children in Ukraine, Irene (Vasil), Bohdan (Mariya) Roman, grandson Svyatyk, brothers Oleksander and Viktor, and family and friends in Canada and Ukraine.

The family thanks his doctors and the caring and supportive staff at CancerCare Manitoba and the Health Sciences Centre.

A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at 2:00 pm at Sts. Volodymyr and Olha Cathedral, 115 McGregor Street.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Help Fund Ukraine. Donation boxes are located at the church.

Rest in peace, Ivan, free from pain. We love you and will miss you.
