THOMAS JOSEPH AJTAY

Thomas Joseph Ajtay passed away peacefully on September 15, 2024 at the age of 65.

Tom will be missed dearly by his entire family. He leaves behind siblings, children, grandchildren, family and friends across Canada and the world. His inspiration and love will never be lost, as all who met him share his memories.

No matter how far apart he was from his family, they were always in his heart and mind. He kept their pictures close, keeping them with him in his many travels. He had eight siblings and eight children, giving forward as large of a family as he was given.

Children: Debbie, Dwayne, Candice, Triston, Sandra, Doug, Janet and T.Jay 

Tom spoke of his life to any who took the time to listen. He told tales of both his accomplishments and mistakes, in hopes those who listened would learn from him. He explored the wilds of nature, telling others to never be afraid of this beautiful world. He looked up to the stars, urging others to imagine everything out there waiting for us. He always said to look for the moral to every story, to learn from them, as every story plays a part of another.

His story will be a part of many lives forever, as we cherish the chapters he shared with us all. He sits watching over us, on a lawn chair by a river, tipping his hat to us all.

The funeral service will be held at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street, Winnipeg, on September 25, 2024 at 10:00 am.
