TRACY DOREEN TETRAULT
1961-2024
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Tracy on November 13, 2024 at the age of 63 years.
She was predeceased by her parents Edward and Adeline Hercina, her stepfather Stewart Linklater, and her granddaughter Claire Tetrault.
Tracy is lovingly remembered by her husband Peter, her brother Bradley, her children Tannis, Joel, Tyra, and Jesse, her daughter-in-law Christine, and her grandchildren Wyatt, Brody, and Charlie.
Tracy was born in Winnipeg on May 8th, 1961, and was raised in Sandy Hook, Selkirk, and Transcona. She attended Murdoch McKay Collegiate. She met the love of her life Peter in Winnipeg, and they married in their own backyard on July 4th, 1987 in West St Paul, before moving back to Winnipeg and raising three children.
Tracy loved working with and looking after children. Her and husband Peter participated in foster care, providing a safe and loving home for a number of children over the years. After working at Jaycees Daycare, Tracy spent the rest of her life working at both Calvin Christian schools in Winnipeg. Tracy was great at helping children with all kinds of special needs. She worked closely with many different children over the years, and had touched the hearts of countless youths during her time as an Educative Assistant.
A celebration of Tracy’s life will take place on Sunday, December 1, 2024 at 1:00 pm at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1800 Day Street.
