Rest in peace Sam,
I remember first meeting you in 1948 when you lived at 810 Selkirk Ave. Recall that I was a good friend, along with Ken Alyluia, of your younger brother William (Wes) and it was nice to be introduced to you, Wes' older brother who was always friendly, kind and reserved. I remember evenings in your basement making curling rocks in the form that your dad made for us. I was lucky to have Wes as such a good friend coming from such a nice, close family. After being classmates for 12 years at King Edward and Sisler, unfortunately after university we lost touch once Ken and Wes relocated in Calgary and Edmonton.
My deepest condolences to Wes, Ed, and Margaret.
