CONNIE SMUK

Obituary of CONNIE SMUK

For our dearest mother, Connie Zdrill (Onyshko) (Smuk) who sadly passed away quietly on Sunday morning December 22nd at Fred Douglas Lodge. May our mother finally rest in peace as she fought a hard battle with cancer. Connie was an inspiration to all who crossed her path, she would always have the time to chat with everyone, she loved what she did working at Vita-health helping others with their health problems (you where a miracle worker mom to say the least).

Connie will now be resting up in heaven with her beloved late husband, Nick Onyshko; mother, Mary Zdrill; father, Paul Zdrill; brother, Albert; brother-in-law, Bill; many cousins and many friends.

Left to mourn her brother, Bernie and wife, Sylvia Zdrill; sister, Pat Zdrill; brother, Ed Zdrill and wife Fran. Sons, Sean Onyshko, Darren Onyshko and wife Tracey Onyshko with grandchildren Nicole and Jordan Onyshko (who will sadly miss you greatly), with many cousins, nephews, nieces and many friends.

There will be such a big void in our lives, mom you will be forever in our hearts, memories will never be forgotten.

Sean Onyshko and Darren Onyshko would like to express their thanks who helped our mother throughout the years.

Mom, I am going to miss you so much, I am going to miss everything about you, absolutely everything about you, too many things to mention, I am relieved that you are up in Heaven and no longer suffering, you are upstairs with everyone else that you so dearly missed, you are now all together dancing together, say hi to everyone for me, you know whom they are, when it is my time, I will be up there with you, I will miss you forever, you will forever be in my heart including myself having  the awesome and beautiful memories of you that no one will ever be able to take away from me, Love you Mommy!/Sean.

Mom, you knew how to inspire us, all the pep talks will never be forgotten, your love for us and everyone was unconditional, you gave so much to us and everyone that surrounded you.

Mom you where the captain of the ship, you left us memories to last a lifetime, your strength to carry on through the hard times and good times brough a wealth of inspiration to both of us.

Mom, may you rest your weary eyes but not stop in defeat but leave us with the challenges you left us behind for us to carry on, we love you dearly for that, you are in a better place now mom, we love you ever so much, we shed a tear for you, may God be with you now and forever.

Our mother’s wishes where to have a final private viewing with no service and a private immediate family gathering in the spring time to celebrate her long life of accomplishments. Cremation has taken place and donations can be made to the Manitoba Cancer Care Society on our mother’s behalf.

Love you mother forever!!!!!!
