I was visiting my parents’s grave on Saturday and came across What I thought might be Robert’s mom’s tombstone. I’m so sorry even though it’s over 12 years on. Her son Robert was a warm acquaintance of mine from church and school. Your mom is in my thoughts Robert.

Dear Robert and Family: We were saddened to learn of the sudden passing of your mother and will greatly miss our exchanges of greetings at Christmas. Her obituary revealed aspects of her life of which we were unaware, but which reinforced our view of a lady of outstanding courage, determination and faith. We extend our heartfelt sympathy to you all. Sachi and Geoff

Dear Robert & Family, It has been a long time since we last saw eachother. I was saddened to read of your mother's passing in the Free Press today on our visit to Winnipeg. I think I only met your mom once or twice when we would have been 11 or 12. I thought she was a wonderful lady and truly strong and courageous especially after your dad's passing. She must have been so proud of the wonderful son she raised. In reading her story, I could also relate to her uncertain journey from Poland in a very uncertain time not unlike my own grandparents. My thoughts are with you and yours. Sincerely, Dwight Peters Robertstson Class of 1970
