It took me a while to process all we shared and to express my gratitude for those memories. I know many of us meet people on social media and we are cautious not to allow the wrong person into our lives. I met Pat in the Big Brother group that I administrated. We had an instant connection. The many laughs we shared can’t compare to the friendship we developed outside of said group. Pat told me so many stories about her loves of her life starting with Peter and including her sons and their signifant others. We had so much in common it amazed us both. Her recipes will be followed so I can feel Pat with us. I have felt such pain as her last year she worried so much about Peter then suddenly she took a turn. There are no words to capture the loss even this “stranger” feels toward losing Pat. I messaged her every few days so she knew I cared. It speaks volumes that Pat suffered yet tried to help me with my husband’s battle with Cancer. Some people are irreplaceable. I will miss you forever Pat. ❤️

My sincere condolences to Pat’s family on the loss of their wife, mother and sister. I will remember Pat for her laugh and sense of humour, which was appreciated in our workplace (by her coworkers and the donors) during the many years I worked with her. May your memories bring you comfort in your loss.

My condolences to you as a family. I worked with Pat for her whole career at Canadian Blood Services. Pat will be remembered for her ability to bring humour into the workplace, we laughed often together, and enjoyed working with her.

In my 14 years of working at Canadian Blood Services, each day I worked with Pat was a Great day. No matter how crazy busy the clinic was, Pat managed to keep me smiling as her efficiency, knowledge and sense of humour was second to none. She was a team worker and the donors loved her smile, confidence and easy going nature. She was proud of her sons and spoke of them and Peter lovingly. She truly was an amazing lady. My sincerest condolences on your loss.
