I had the privilege of working with Ray for about 16 years. Ray had a very special way with people and I enjoyed working with him very much. He was very dedicated to his career but also very dedicated to his family, who he spoke about often with love and pride. My condolences to you, Christine and to all of Ray's family and also to the staff at Gardewine where he made so many friends.

I have known Ray for many years. He was the most genuine person and the most wonderful and respectful individual with the greatest personality. I admired all those wonderful qualities that made him the special person he was. He had intelligence, wit, charm and a caring heart that made him a great friend. I will always be thankful that I had the opportunity to get to know him and call him my friend. I will cherish his memory for years to come. How fortunate I am to have a friend from youth. He was kind, compassionate and a true gentleman. Sadly there are few people like that in the world. Ray has definitely left an indelible impact on me.
My heartfelt condolences to you family. I share your grief in the loss of my dear friend. I will miss you Ray-Ray. Rest in peace my friend.

I, as a driver for Gardewine will surely miss Ray. He hired me years ago and gave me the opportunity to prove my skills in driving. Ray was a fair person when dealing with people and situations. Ray continued to greet you as a person and not just a employee. My condolences go to his wife and children. Ray has left very big shoes to fill and will be missed.

Rest In Peace my friend. I only knew you for a short while but it was a blessing working with you and an honour knowing you. I looked forward to bumping into you in the hallways and in the cafeteria and our short chats ... last time we spoke we chatted about fitness and working out .. It won’t be the same with out you there.

We were so very sadden to hear about Ray's passing. I still remember when Ray first started at Gardewine. I have many fond memories both at work and socially outside of work. He used to like calling me to come and see him so I could sing to a friend having a birthday my "Marilyn Munroe rendition of Happy Birthday over the phone! Our hearts go out to his family during this very difficult time. May you be surrounded by peace and compassion and may your memories of Ray bring you comfort. Love Leona, Joe, Sarah and Andrew.
