Obituary of RAYMAN SAMAROO
Rayman Samaroo
Surrounded by his loving family, Rayman Samaroo left us suddenly on June 17, 2019.
Rayman was born August 20, 1960 in Guyana, South America, and immigrated to Canada in 1982. He was the son of the late Bibi and Kasim Samaroo of Vergenoegen, Guyana. He is survived by his loving wife Christine, his children Melissa (Erick), Nicole, David (Meaghan), and Layne, grandchildren Gabriel, James and Madison, siblings Farida (Shahir), Saferan (Abdool), Janet (Mahammad), Shameer (Fazia), Veena and Malika (Naz), 6 nephews, 22 nieces, 12 great nephews and 13 great nieces.
Ray was a generous and giving spirit who touched many people with his kindness and willingness to help anyone in need. After coming to Winnipeg, he built a career in transportation as a dedicated employee of Gardewine for 33 years.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, June 20 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street, Winnipeg.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba.
