I will never forget the kindness Laurie showed me. The day after my wedding she packed me up a lunch of cheese blintzes for our drive back to Fort McMurray. It was always wonderful visiting with her.

I remember as a little girl, my dad (Aunt Laurie's brother Arthur), mom and sister travelled from Alberta to Miniota and to Winnipeg to see Grandma Prost, Aunt Laurie and Uncle Walter.
Just this past July, with my son and niece (and her new husband) we stopped into visit Aunt Laurie. It was such a great visit. She spoke of her family and showed us pictures. She told us stories of when she was growing up with my dad.
Before we left she gave me a bag of peppermint cookies and some cabbage buns. Those peppermint cookies brought back alot of childhood memories.
My sincere condolences to the family...with love and prayers...
