Obituary of Henry Lotz
HENRY LOTZ
April 15, 1925 – January 14, 2020
It is with great sadness that the family of Henry (Heinrich) Lotz announce his passing, on the morning of January 14, 2020, at the age of 94.
Henry was born in Mala-Brsljanica, former Yugoslavia, to Heinrich and Anna (Hamburger) Lotz. He immigrated to Canada in January, 1951.
Henry will be missed by his wife of 67 years, Herma (Huber), his children, Margaret (Karl) Klatt, Arthur (Corrina) and Carl, 8 grandchildren, Kristine (Fraser Moss), Eric (Marisa) Klatt, Colleen (Matthew Havrilenko), Jacob, Jesse, Lucas, Logan and Landis Lotz, and 4 great-grandchildren, Mason and Mikayla Klatt and Lauren and Leah Havrilenko. Also survived by his youngest siblings Jack and Elizabeth (Gordon) Greb, brother-in-law Waldemar (Ingelore) Huber and numerous nieces and nephews.
Henry was predeceased by his parents and siblings: Conrad, Kate (Smith), Paul, John, Lischen, and Anne (Fritz), brother-in-laws Ernie Smith and Adam Fritz and sister-in-laws Theresa Lotz and Elbera (Nancy) Lotz, niece Mary Lotz and nephew Helmut Fritz.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Canadian Lutheran World Relief (CLWR) or CancerCare Manitoba.
Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 17, 2020 at Saint James Lutheran Church, 871 Cavalier Dr., Winnipeg at 1:00 pm. Interment to follow at 3:30 pm at Chapel Lawn Cemetery, 4000 Portage Ave., Winnipeg.
