Marlo served as a valuable member on a few workplace United Way Committees I chaired for WCB in the late 00's.
She was a great idea person, sounding board and champion of other's ideas and enthusiastic. I was delighted to hear she continued on as part of the UW campaign planning. She was a bright positive force and loved being a mom.
So I was blind-sided by the news awhile ago of her diagnosis and now, having just heard of the news of her passing, I am crest-fallen.
She wrote her own chapter in the book called 'Service to Others', a chapter we should all read.
Miss you, MJ

Our hearts are broken.
Sending so much love and light to the whole family & wishing for you peaceful quiet of beautiful memories created with Marlo to help as a salve to get through this most difficult time.
I looked so forward to seeing Marlo at all our family gatherings. We always got roped into serving the tea or fancy sandwiches, the duties of the next generation of grandkids. Never once did I ever hear her complain about a thing...she was a kindred spirit, jumping in to help, exactly the way we were expected to with one look from our grandmas:)
Her smile was so infectious, her laugh big and her heart full of kindness.
We will miss her dearly.
All our love,
Jenn, Chris, Spencer & Lauren
