Dear Shirley and family
Growing up, Mrs Tinski, as I always knew her, was the most warm and welcoming person a child could want. When over at my best friend Shirley’s house, she was like a second mother to me in warmth and care. How many hours did I spend there? I can’t even guess. From Kindergarten days onward. I’m sure my mom could feel so completely at peace knowing I was there, safe and cared for.
That’s always the feeling I think of when I think of her. Welcomed. Safe.
Another memory is of her perfectly formed and delicate, delicious, hand made with love, perogies. Fit for Kings - or for her lucky children.
As children, we never felt in need. Mrs Tinski was one of those women who made a child’s world worry free, devoting her life to family as she did. May she rest in peace. I’m sure my mom was there to great her ‘home’.
My heartfelt condolences to all her family who no doubt feel the loss of such a dear soul, strongly. It’s the whole world’s loss too. One of the good people has passed on to that other world, but leaving a wonderful heritage of more good people on this earth, whom she helped to create through her love.
